Hurricane Ian hit the Rat House!

Roof Rats in Risk!

Hurricane Ian struck Central Florida September 28th and 29th, 2022. The Rat Household was straight in its path and the Roof Rats and I bought just a taste of Mother Nature’s full fury those people two times. This was our story.

At 7:30AM September 28th, and the roof rats are waiting around nervously for Hurricane Ian to strike. It is already chilly, windy and raining continuously. But it will no question get a lot even worse. The route of Hurricane Ian is forecast to pass really in close proximity to us, but hopefully it will be downgraded to a tropical storm by them.

Then, Ian struck! We experienced major wind and rain.

And then, at about 4AM on September 29th, 2022, the electrical power went out in the Rat Dwelling, slicing off the rats’ air circulation, though raising flood waters threatened to engulf them! It was a terrifying, life-threatening circumstance! In total darkness, I went out to the rat house to be with them, and attempt my best to safeguard them. Recorded as it took place!

We survived, but it was genuinely terrifying!
